In order to manage difficult behaviors, it’s important that educators recognize common difficult behavior types and be able to appropriately respond to them. The key to managing difficult behavior types is to recognize them and respond appropriately. It is important not to engage in a power struggle but equip yourself with strategies that will allow you to redirect or eradicate difficult behaviors.
In this training, participants will:
- Discuss four areas of teaching that they should consider when managing difficult behavior types
- Examine seven difficult behaviors in children
- Demonstrate strategies for intervention for each of the difficult behaviors.
