By age 5 (school- aged), most children are ready to start learning in a school setting. The first few years focus on learning the fundamentals. Development precedes at different rates for School- Aged children due to both internal and external experiences.

In this training, participants will:

  • Be introduced to the three principle components of development
  • List the elements of a quality learning environment
  • Examine six areas of development as it relates to school- aged children
